What personal data we collect

At reinforce.io, we do collect some of your personal data.

Newsletter signup

If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your name and e-mail address. We pass this data to our mailing software, Mailchimp, which is based in the US. If you have any questions regarding how they handle your data, please see their privacy policy.

We use the data you provide us with at the Newsletter signup page to send you occasional updates from our projects, e.g. Tensorforce or reinforce.io as a whole. If you do not wish to receive such information, please refrain from subscribing to the Newsletter.

Google analytics

We use google analytics for analysis of how users interact with our website. Google analytics is a product by Google, a US-based company. We added a snippet to our website that records your interactions with it, and send that data to Google, who store it. This data includes (but is not necessarily limited to) which site you’re currently on (if on reinforce.io), which site you visited before, how long you visited each site, which links you clicked, and your IP address. The IP address can be potentially used to identify you. That’s why we enabled IP anonymisation. If you have any questions on how Google stores your data, please see their privacy policy.

We will send you or delete your personal data upon request

Since we use IP anonymization for Google analytics, we’re unable to send or delete your data. That’s because we can’t identify it – it’s anonymous.

We’re glad to send you your data from the Newsletter signup. If you send us an email, we’ll gladly reply with your name and email.

Of course, we will delete you from our mailing list if you so wish. Please let us know at contact@reinforce.io.
